hey adsvolt community, super new here and kinda freaking out a bit. i just launched a cool new feature for my saas product, it's like a real game-changer for our users, and i thought, what better way to get the word out than video ads, right? i figured youtube ads would be the best bet, everyone's on youtube, the reach is insane. seemed like a no-brainer to get our demo video in front of potential customers. but oh man, it's been anything but smooth sailing.

the problem is, every single campaign i try to set up, it keeps getting rejected. i get these realy vague 'policy violation' messages, sometimes it says 'misleading content' or 'unacceptable business practices' but like, my product is legit, and the video is just a demo! i've read through the youtube ad policies like five times now, and i still can't pinpoint what i'm doing wrong. it's super frustrating. i've tried everything i can think of. i've re-read the youtube ad policys till my eyes hurt, i've slightly edited the video to make sure there's no crazy claims or anything, i've even tried different targeting settings, thinking maybe it was the audience i was going for. i've checked my landing page too, thought maybe that was the issue, but it's just our regular product page. nothing seems to work.

are there some really common pitfalls that first-timers like me always fall into with youtube ads? what could be causing these constant rejections when i'm pretty sure i'm following the rules? and honestly, is there a simpler way to get started with video ads in general, maybe another platform that's more forgiving for beginners? i'm completely new to this whole video advertising thing. any advice, tips, or best practices from you seasoned pros would be a lifesaver right now. i'm really eager to learn and get this right. waiting for an expert reply!

Hey Lucia Sanchez,
I get these realy vague 'policy violation' messages, sometimes it says 'misleading content' or 'unacceptable business practices'.
Those 'realy' vague rejections (it's 'really', by the way) for **beginner video campaigns** on YouTube typically indicate your ad creative or landing page makes claims Google considers unsubstantiated or overly hyperbolic for **SaaS growth**. Ensure all statements about your product's capabilities are factual, avoid superlatives, and that your landing page clearly supports every claim without ambiguity.
