Totally lost on PlugRush popunder bidding: why are my campaigns always losing money?
hey everyone, i'm totally new to the world of affiliate marketing and adult traffic, and i've decided to dive headfirst into PlugRush for my first serious campaign attempts. i'm trying to make my first profitable campaign, focusing on adult traffic offers.
the thing is, my PlugRush popunder campaigns are consistently losing money, and i just can't seem to find a profitable bid strategy. it's kinda frustrating, to be honest.
- i started with very low bids, like the absolute minimum, and then gradually increased them thinking i'd find a sweet spot, but no luck.
- i also tried using PlugRush's recommended default bids for various geos, but those seem to burn through budget super fast without any conversions.
- experimented with targeting specific mobile carriers and device types, thinking maybe certain combinations would convert better, but that didn't help much either.
- i've played around with different cap settings โ daily, total, all that โ trying to control spend, but the outcome is always the same.
- my main focus has been on popunder traffic, as that seemed like a good entry point for adult offers.
it feels like my campaigns just burn budget quickly without conversions. i see stats like this all the time, which is just heartbreaking:
Campaign ID: 12345
Spend: $50.00
Conversions: 0
ROI: -100%
Avg. CPC: $0.005
Impressions: 10,000
(repeat for multiple campaigns)so, what's the best approach for popunder bidding as a complete beginner on PlugRush?
- are there specific bid strategies to avoid or embrace when starting out, especially for
popunder traffic optimization? - how do you guys identify winning zones/placements without burning through too much budget in the process?
- should i always start with a very low bid and slowly scale, or is there a better initial strategy for getting that first conversion?
really need some guidance on this, feeling kinda stuck and a little discouraged. help a brother out please...
