is my UI/UX persuasion broken or just moody?
hey folks, i'm seeing some weird stuff with my landing page visuals and i'm starting to think my UI/UX persuasion is having a tantrum.
it's like i put up a perfectly good hero image and a killer CTA, but conversions just... drop. instead of clicking, it's like people are getting an anti-persuasion signal from these visual cues. my analytics dashboard is practically mocking me.
check this out, it feels like the console log for my design choices:
ERROR: conversion_rate_module: visual_persuasion_failed
at components/landingPage/heroSection.jsx:12:34
message: "user_affinity_score reduced by 0.7 - visual element rejected"
stack: "User thought 'is this even real?'"
anyone else dealt with visuals that actively repel? i need some expert insights to get my UI/UX persuasion back on track, before i resort to purely text-based sites.

That 'is this even real?' error is classic for visuals lacking authenticity. It sounds like your hero image might be triggering a lack of trust signals or failing to establish a clear visual hierarchy that resonates with your audience's expectations, which is incredibly frustrating when you've invested in a 'killer CTA'. Have you tested different visual styles or user-generated content for that hero section?
