Best way to offer quick Laravel support as a newbie?
Hey everyone, I just recently launched my new service, 'Laravel Quick Fix & Consultation', and I've got to admit, as a complete newbie to offering this kind of specialized help, I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed and unsure about the best path forward.
My main goal is to provide really fast, affordable solutions and basic consultations for common Laravel issues, basically helping developers who hit a snag and just need a quick hand to get unstuck, especially with things like Laravel troubleshooting.
The core problem I'm facing right now is figuring out the best approach to structure this entire service, especially when it comes to pricing models and, crucially, how to attract my initial clients without feeling like I'm shouting into the void.
I've thought a lot about going with hourly rates, but my concern is that it might deter potential clients who are just looking for really quick, small fixes and don't want to commit to an hourly block, especially for something that might only take 15-30 minutes. Then I considered fixed-price micro-tasks, which seems appealing for those quick fixes, but honestly, scoping these out feels incredibly tricky. Laravel problems can vary so much in complexity, even if they seem small on the surface, making it hard to set a fair fixed price beforehand.
I'm also really struggling to identify the best platforms or online communities where I can genuinely find users who specifically need this kind of targeted Laravel troubleshooting and support. It feels like a very niche offering. I briefly dipped my toes into some general freelance sites, but it honestly felt like trying to find a needle in a haystack for such a specialized niche service, and I didn't get much traction.
So, my specific questions for all you experienced folks out there are: What are some truly effective pricing models you've seen or used for both 'quick fixes' and more in-depth 'consultations' within the Laravel ecosystem? I'm open to anything creative. Secondly, where should a brand new service like mine really focus its efforts to find those initial clients who genuinely need dedicated Laravel support? Are there specific forums, subreddits, Discord channels, or even less obvious places I should be looking? And finally, any advice on how to effectively manage client expectations and clearly define the scope, especially for those small, quick tasks where things can sometimes spiral unexpectedly?
I really, really appreciate any guidance, insights, or even just personal anecdotes from experienced folks here. Help a brother out please...

What specific Laravel issues are you seeing most often?
