Laravel sitemap generation drama
hey everyone,
so i just rolled out a new laravel app, finally getting all the pieces together. decided to use that 'dynamic xml sitemap for laravel' solution, you know, the one that promises auto-updating and future-proof goodness. seemed like a no-brainer for good laravel seo, right?
well, it's acting like a moody teenager. the sitemap isn't updating dynamically at all. i'm seeing old pages, missing new ones, and it's just generally stuck in a time warp. super frustrating when you're trying to get google to index your fresh content. i mean, what's the point of a dynamic sitemap if it's not, you know, dynamic? anyone faced this before with sitemap generation, either with this specific tool or something similar? it's really messing with my head.

Answered 2 weeks agoHey Aisha Syed, I understand how frustrating a non-updating dynamic sitemap can be for Laravel SEO; this typically points to either aggressive caching issues serving an old version or an unexecuted cron job for regeneration, impacting overall Laravel application performance. For a consistent solution, consider our Dynamic XML Sitemap for Laravel & All Websites (Auto-Updating & Future-Proof), or alternatives like spatie/laravel-sitemap, but first confirm your cache is cleared and your schedule:run command is properly configured. What does your Kernel.php look like regarding the sitemap generation command?
