Hey everyone,

Just launched my new Web3 project (think DeFi meets NFTs, it's wild!) and I'm trying to get some eyeballs on it. Decided to dive into Cointraffic, as it seems like a popular crypto ad platform, but man, it's been a ride!

I'm finding the campaign setup process... interesting. It feels like I'm wrestling with a particularly stubborn octopus sometimes. I've tried setting up a basic banner campaign, targeting specific geos and interests, and even experimented with different bidding strategies (CPC vs. CPM), but my campaigns just aren't taking off. It's like the platform is actively trying to hide my ads from the world!

Here's what I'm seeing in my campaign dashboard:

[CAMPAIGN_ID: CTX-7890]
STATUS: Pending Review (for 48h?!)
IMPRESSIONS: 0
CLICKS: 0
SPEND: $0.00
NOTES: Campaign budget allocated, targeting active, but no delivery.

Is there some secret handshake I'm missing? Or maybe a "Cointraffic for Dummies" guide out there?

Specifically, I'd love to know:

  • What are your go-to tips for setting up your first successful campaign on Cointraffic?
  • Any common pitfalls newcomers usually fall into?
  • How do you handle the "pending review" phase โ€“ is there a way to speed it up or prevent extended delays?
  • Best practices for targeting and bidding to actually get impressions?

Any and all advice would be super appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

  • Ensure your ad creatives and landing page strictly comply with Cointraffic's guidelines; non-compliance is the primary reason for extended "Pending Review" status, often exceeding 48 hours for new advertisers, especially in the Web3 advertising sector.
  • For initial campaigns, start with slightly broader geo-targeting and a moderate daily budget (e.g., $50-$100) to allow the algorithm to gather data. Overly narrow targeting or very low bids (below recommended floor) will prevent delivery.
  • Common pitfalls include generic ad copy, poor landing page experience, and insufficient bids for competitive placements. Your creative and landing page for DeFi marketing must be compelling and clear.
  • Contact Cointraffic support directly if your campaign remains pending for over 24 hours; they can often provide specific feedback on compliance issues or bid recommendations.

Yeah this is super helpful, especially the bit about contacting support after 24 hours, totally gonna do that...
